Finished hat circumference: 48 cm

YARN
1 Ball (100 g) of Rosarios4 Bulky Light, 100% Wool
The sample is knit in colour 227.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
12 mm / US 17, 40 cm long circular needles and DPNs
4 stitch markers, 1 unique (a different colour to mark the beginning of round)
Tapestry needle

TENSION
10 stitches = 10 cm/ 4 inches in HEEL STITCH* using 12 mm (US 17) needles.

*HEEL STITCH
Knit flat: CO even number of stitches.
Row 1: P all stitches
Row 2: *K1, slk, rep from * to end of row.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
Knit in the round: CO even number of stitches.
Row 1: K all stitches
Row 2: *K1, slk, rep from * to end of round.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2.
