About Beautiful Knitters
Beautiful Knitters is a yarn shop online and in central London, UK.
We started out life in 2016 in New York, not as a store or a business, but a celebration of the knitting and yarn community on Instagram (@beautifulknitters). Karin, the founder, wanted to recognise the diversity and beauty of everyone who loves the process of making magic happen with the simple combination of yarn and needles.
After working at some of the best and most amazing Yarn shops in New York and London as well as designing our own patterns, we decided it was time to take things up a level and also create a space to bring people together and share the Yarns we love.
The search for a location in London took us to lovely Pimlico in the heart of London, 10 minutes walk from Victoria. It is the perfect place to showcase amazing yarn, primarily from the UK and Europe.
We seek out and carefully source a wide variety of yarns, primarily from the UK and Europe. We have an eco and artisanal mindset and much of our yarn comes from small artisanal hand dyers and uses organic and /or natural materials such as rare sheep breeds, alpacas, etc..
