These yarn bowls are lovingly handmade and each bowl is unique, with a perfect balance of practicality and beauty. As well as being a useful accessory for any keen knitter or crochet enthusiast they make a beautiful decorative piece when not in use and are robust enough to last a life time.

The process begins with the finest wood sustainably sourced in Northumberland - UK.
Each bowl is turned by hand while the wood is "green" or still fresh. As the wood dries, the bowl warps a little giving each bowl its unique, slightly elliptical shape. The yarn groove is carved by hand to best complement the individual pattern of the grain. The bowls are then hand sanded until silky smooth. the final step is to seal the bowl with a homemade 100% organic wood finish.
