The Bean Sprout Bloomers are knitted from the bottom up.
When casting on for back piece, the pattern uses "provisional cast on" to avoid seams between the legs, but you can use your usual cast on method as well.
The front piece and back piece are knitted back and forth, and you will then join the pieces together and continue knitting in the round. The bloomers are made longer and roomier on the back by knitting short rows.
